Meet Tela

Tela (pronounced "TEE-luh") is a fully restored 1978 Deluxe VW Westfalia Bus located in Easton, CT. Tela can be rented with our freestanding photo booth and decor options, and/or as a chauffeur vehicle. She brings vintage charm and exuberance to every event and photo shoot!

Tela can be styled to suit any occasion or theme. We consult with you to bring your vision to life and then seamlessly integrate our styling with your aesthetic. Our rental packages include all of the furniture & decor items, set-up time before the event, and our personal assistance with photos for the duration of your event.

Stand out from the crowd

Most mobile photo bus companies install a photo booth inside the vehicle, however we believe that the real charm lies outside. Sitting inside the bus and taking photos with a standard photo booth camera often results in photos that look like they could have been taken in any modern photo booth anywhere in the world, rather than in an awesome vintage VW bus at a beautiful venue!
By contrast, Tela Bus is an open air photo booth, meaning that the photo booth is set up outside the bus, so you can have the vibe of the entire stylized experience in all of your photos. Guests can take photos, GIFs, Boomerangs and videos with our self-serve photo booth and instantly receive them via SMS text, email or QR code.
That said, it’s also fun to hop in and take a few photos inside the bus too. We can shoot from multiple angles on guests’ phones or, with a quick conversion, transform our booth into a battery-operated roaming photo booth! Hop in the driver's seat, the rear passenger seat, or even the hatchback -- we'll follow you and click away!  ​
